the best predictor

If you want to know if someone is going to fail there's one character trait that is a 100% accurate predictor.

It's not about intelligence because I've met plenty of successful guys that aren't very intelligent.

It's not about looks or moral compass or how smooth you can talk. It's also not about how tenacious you are or how dedicated to "The Grind" you are.

It's something completely different.

Let me illustrate with a real life example.

I knew a guy, let's call him Fred. There was a family relationship so I knew him for most of my life.

In this period Fred took up multiple hobbies and projects. And the same bizarre sequence would play out every time.

Let's say he picked up pingpong as a hobby, right? He would start playing and he would practice religiously. Rarely missed a training session.

He would do this for YEARS. And after 5 years of playing he would be just as bad as he was after 5 weeks of playing.

It was uncanny.

He would just never improve.

No matter how much he trained, no matter how much time he spent on a hobby or project... he would always stay at the same level as when he first started out doing it.

Which is why nothing ever worked out for him.

If you're unable to:

1) Learn from your mistakes

and

2) Come up with new suggestions / ideas / action plans to do better in the future...

...it will never ever work out. Because you get stuck in an infinite loop of failure.

Like a fly bumping into a glass window over and over again.

So if you've been trying your hardest at something for a while, check what you might be missing. Life and business isn't just about "the grind". Maybe you're just barking up the wrong tree and what you need is to zoom out a little.
